Investment Options

To obtain permanent residence in Malta, applicants must fulfill the following investment requirements:

Government contribution

  • EUR 80,000 if the applicant purchases residential property in Malta.

or

  • EUR 110,000 if the applicant rents residential property in Malta.
  • This contribution is non-refundable.

Real estate investment

Property purchase

  • Purchase residential property with a minimum value of EUR 375,000.

or

Property rental

  • Lease residential property with a minimum annual rent of EUR 14,000.
